I ordered a dress with the matching headwrap, and the colors were really in person. I was excited when it arrived, but the fabric felt a lot thinner than I thought it would, haha.
After just one wash, I noticed some stitching coming loose on the side, and the zipper had already started sticking. I hadn’t even worn it much yet, so that was frustrating.

Shipping was fine and nothing too crazy there, but for the price, I was expecting the quality to be better. It wasn’t the worst purchase ever, just kind of disappointing.

I went in hoping to find pieces that felt authentic and thoughtfully made, but once I looked through the site, a lot of the designs just came across generic to me.

Some of the styles felt less like genuinely African-inspired fashion and more like trendy designs with bright prints added on top. Maybe it’s just my personal taste, but it didn’t sit right with me, especially when culture is being used as part of the appeal.

I didn’t really get the sense that much care or respect went into the designs, and that matters to me. It wasn’t what I expected, so I don’t think I’d shop here again.

My order did show up, and I don’t remember having any issues with the shipping part, but one of the items wasn’t the size I picked and the color was off too. I mostly remember being annoyed because I needed it for an event, so that made it disappointing

I’m probably a little biased because I really hate dealing with returns in the first place, but this one was especially frustrating. I sent everything back and I’m still sitting here waiting for my refund. Not a great experience

I found a few things on the site that I actually liked, but the customer service side was frustrating. I reached out with a question about my order and it took days to get a reply. When they finally got back to me, the response felt a bit rushed and didn’t really answer everything I asked. It wasn’t a total disaster or anything, but it definitely made the whole experience more annoying than it needed to be...

I ordered my usual size, but it ended up fitting way smaller than expected. The fit was disappointing, and what’s more annoying is that the next steps for exchanging or returning it weren’t very clear. I had to dig around to figure out what I’m supposed to do next.

I’m still waiting for my delivery, and it’s frustrating. It was supposed to arrive on time, but here I am checking again and again, and nothing. Not really the experience I expected, and yeah, I’m not happy about it.

I was disappointed with this dress. The fabric itself looked fine at first, like it wasn’t the issue, but the stitching was a mess. There were loose threads in a few places right out of the package, and some of the seams already looked like they weren’t finished properly. I wore it once, just one time, and the side seam started opening a little. For what I paid, I expected it to be put together better. It’s cute from a distance, I guess, but the quality just isn’t there. I probably wouldn’t order again unless they fix the finishing.

Sizes and colors were limited too, so I got bored quickly. after paying I also started feeling a bit unsure about the whole thing, like I wasn’t fully confident I’d made the right choice. Just wish there had been more options.

So the stuff is actually nice, but the prices felt a bit higher than I expected. I liked what they had, just not sure it felt totally worth it for me.

I was frustrated trying to place my order on My African Fashions. The payment page kept acting strange, and I couldn’t tell if my payment actually went through or if I needed to start over. That kind of uncertainty made me really uneasy because nobody wants to wonder if they’ve been charged without getting a clear confirmation.
I went in expecting a quick, simple checkout, but the whole thing just left me stressed and second-guessing the site. As a first-time experience, it didn’t give me much confidence, and because of how uncomfortable it made me feel, I probably wouldn’t try ordering from them again.

Tried using it on my phone. Kind of frustrating. Pages loaded weird. Stuff was hard to find. Not very smooth.

I kind of figured the photos might be a little off, but reading between the lines of the listing, I still expected the color to be close. What I got was much darker than the pictures, so I was disappointed. Probably won’t be ordering again.
